About Mini Bakes
Mini Bakes is a small bakery in Elgin, Moray. Mini Bakes is a small family business run by myself, Ruby, along with my husband Lewis. With the occasional 'help' from our two 'Mini Bakers' Euan & Rohan. Other family members regularly get roped into helping out at markets too!

Mini Bakes started in October 2020, as a small cake business run from my home. For 4 years I ran Mini Bakes part-time years whilst juggling other jobs and a young family. In August 2024, I was approached by Hazel who ran The Bake Project in Elgin, and asked if I would like to potnetially take over her wee shop as she was leaving the area. I had always dreamt of having a wee shop or cafe one day but thought with a young family this wasn't going to be in the pipeline for another 5/10 years. Hazel must have remembered this as I had mention it once when we popped into her shop about a year previous. After a lot of discussin on whether we could really make this leap, we decided this opportunity was too good to turn down, and so fast forward 2 months, here we are! Thank you Hazel!
In the shop we offer both Sweet & Savoury Tasty Wee Bites.
Savoury Bites include: Soup, Sausage Rolls (using meat from Local Butcher, Dawsons), Pies, and NEW for 2025 - Stuffed bread, which are proving to be very popular!
Sweet Bites include: Brownies & Blondies, Cookies, Mini Cupcakes, Mini Loaf Cakes, Tablet, Chocolate Fudge.
. As well as a variety of treat boxes and themed occasion boxes throughout the year.

You can order your Tasty Wee Bites for any occasion, whether its for a Birthday, Christmas, Small Event or just for a Weekend Treat. I am also happy to make up custom orders to suit your requirements.

I attend a number of fayres and events throughout the year across Moray, that you can find me at. My facebook page is best place to find out where I am at next.

Mini Bakes can also offer a Postal service on some products. So if you don't live in Moray, don't worry you can get your hands on some Tasty Wee Bites throughout the UK. Please Keep your eye out for postal boxes on my Facebook & Instragm. You will also now find me on Etsy too!

MEET THE TEAM
Lewis
Lewis's role includes, Behind the Scenes Man, Chief Logistics, Chief Taste Tester, Ideas Man, Sales Man, Camera Man! Lewis recently joined me full time in the shop, new role includes Cheif Dishwasher!
Mini Baker Euan
Mini Baker Euan has been baking from abou age 2. He partically enjoys baking Chocolate Cake.Â
He also enjoys selling cakes at markets.
Mini Baker Rohan
Like his older brother, Mini Baker Rohan has been baking from a young age (he's 2!)Â
Rohan loves helping pack for markets, Eating any cakes he can get his hands onto! And of course joining in baking when he's allowed to!
